Will ceramic coating actually protect against rock chips?
Ceramic coating adds a 9H hardness layer on top of your clear coat — it significantly reduces micro-scratches, chemical etching, and UV oxidation. For rock chip protection specifically, we pair it with paint protection film (PPF) on high-impact areas. The coating alone won't stop a direct stone strike, but it means every other daily insult — door dings from shopping carts, bird etchings, brake dust — slides right off instead of bonding to your paint.
How long does a full paint correction actually take? I can't be without my car.
A single-stage correction on a daily driver takes 6–8 hours. A proper multi-stage correction — the kind that removes 80–90% of defects — needs 1.5 to 2 full days in the bay. We book Monday drop-off, Friday pickup for ceramic packages so the coating has 48 hours to cure under infrared lamps before it faces the elements. Most of our clients are executives who schedule it during a work trip or use the week to drive the loaner.

How do I know your machines won't put new scratches in my paint?
Every car gets a paint thickness gauge reading before we touch it — logged, documented, handed to you at pickup. We use Rupes LHR21 Mark III polishers with Meguiar's Microfiber Cutting Discs, changed every panel. Our detailers are IDA Certified and complete 40 hours of hands-on training before they're cleared to work on client vehicles. If we somehow induce a defect, we correct it. That's in writing on every invoice.
